We the people find it outrageous how beneficiary it is to serve a nation. Public service is the reward. Members of both the House and Senate should be limited to both terms and benefits.
Senators shall be limited to two terms, at which point they may retire with social security and/or their own private retirement finances, or enter back into the private sector if age prevents retirement eligibility.
Representatives shall also be limited to three elected terms serving the public, at which point they may also retire under social security and/or private retirement accounts. Or enter back into the private sector if age prevents retirement eligibility.
All will also need private insurance, or Medicare provided eligibility, for health care after term.
Benefits have outweighed service.
