The Tax Code of the United States is flawed, outdated, and overly complicated. By enacting the FairTax, the Federal government will automatically cut BILLIONS of dollars out of the Federal Budget EACH year, by eliminating the IRS. Further, tax-payers will receive their entire salaries as take-home pay through the elimination of all federal taxes. To replace the revenue from the elimination of all federal taxes, the government will institute a national sales tax on most good sold in the United States. Studies show that this will possibly only cause a five cent increase on goods.
