Work for a National law named The Sandy Hook Law to:
1 ban ownership of automatic weapons of any kind from anyone except Law Enforcement & Military,
2 ban ownership of high capacity magazines, cartridges, etc of any kind from anyone except Law Enforcement & Military,
3 require the sale of any and all weapons (such as, but not limited to handguns, rifles, shotguns, etc) or ammunition for those weapons or its constituent parts (such as, but not limited to cartridges, powder, bullets, etc) to require a two week waiting period, no exceptions, and a Federal Background check which shall include full fingerprints and DNA sample.
