The federal government should work with the NRA to create a 12 hour NRA certified gun safety course, making course mandatory nationwide for any person purchasing a firearm. The course would be administered by local Sheriff departments for a set cost and revenues going towards gun buy back programs, public safety, school safety and community awareness.
