Work or Forfeit! Stop the pay of elected federal officials if they cannot work together for the good of the country.

I would like to petition a bill that we could call Work or Forfeit. This bill is designed to reward members of congress for work done for the American people. This bill would also penalize members of congress for not doing thier jobs by defunding thier pay.
It is not fair or financially sound to pay someone for work not rendered. This may give the GOP an incentive to work and not obstruct .
Elected officials should meet objectives to better the country or be dismissed like anyone else in the workforce.
Furthermore, All health benefits as well as retirement benefits would be terminated or not funded for not meeting required objectives.
