Because of the disfunction in our congress due in large part to influences from outside lobby's that over time grow stronger and stronger ties with our elected officials and that these officials are more concerned with their own re-elections than serving our country I would propose that term limits be set for Congress. Two terms or max of 12 years in Senate and 6 terms or max of 12 years in House.
