Work on passing a constitutional amendment creating term limits for congressional offices, Senate and in the House.

Created by T.K. on January 15, 2013

There should be a constitutional amendment giving term limitations to congressional seats. 5 terms in the house of Representatives and up to 2 terms in the Senate. When the founding fathers created the house and senate they wanted to create something that anyone could serve 1 maybe 2 terms then return to their regular lives and jobs. They didn't want career politicians that spend 20+ years on the job. Work isn't getting done right now and we need more often fresh ideas and representatives in office.
