Others, including myself, have been repeatedly called (sometimes multiple times a day) by international numbers that "spoof" a number in the U.S. These callers come under a false pretense such as they have government grant receivers need to claim, the receiver has a computer virus, or other false pretenses. Under this pretense, they try to get information from the receiver or get the receiver to send the caller money.
The goal of this petition is to stop the calls to (1) make sure others do not get scammed and (2) make sure others do not get bothered by repeat calls.
