This petition request that President Obama and the U.S. Congress work on reforming our tax code in order to make it more fair and balanced.
By reforming our tax code we can eliminate credits and deductions that allow corporations and wealthy individuals use to advoid paying lower or any federal taxes.
Reform the corporate tax to lower the effective tax rate and eliminate any credits and deductions in order to apply them fairly allowing the government to collect more revenue. Also include language in the tax reform law to allow corporations a one-time opportunity to repatriate foreign income without penalty of additional taxes.
Reform the personal tax code to elminate credits and deductions in order to collect more revenue. Also lower the tax rates to 12, 22, and 28 percent.
