Work to repeal the 2006 mandate for the USPS to prefund pensions 75 years in advance!

Created by D.O. on March 10, 2015

In 2006 Congress passed a law requiring the US Postal Service to prefund pensions 50-75 years in advance. This has caused the USPS to run annual deficits and make huge cuts. I understand the need to ensure pensions are funded but 50-75 years is ridiculous. Repeal and amend the law so that pensions are funded for the next 20 years. This will protect pensions and bring the Postal Service back into the black.
