The Second Amendment to the Constitution is outdated. As we have seen repeatedly, the supposed right to bear arms (interpreted as the unfettered right of all citizens to own nearly any type of firearms) has led to countless deaths by gunfire, intentional and unintentional. Repealing the Second Amendment, thereby making firearms ownership illegal, is a fundamental step to stopping this senseless violence.
