On November 6th, 2012, the American people went to their polling places and cast their votes. In doing so, they affirmed, by re-electing the current Congress that they agreed that the USA Government needs to cut spending and reduce its national debt.
House Minority Leader Nanci Pelosi and other Democrats in Congress continue to ignore the will of the people, and stubbornly decry any efforts to cut spending or reduce the national debt.
This petition is meant to represent a demand on the Democratic Party to abide by the simple principle that guides our country's governance: Congress controls the purse, and the Republican Majority in Congress Rules.
The majority spoke on November 06, and chose to keep the Republican dominated congress to ensure our country's economic future.
