Work with state and/or local governments to provide optional wireless internet access to taxpayers.

Created by W.C. on January 25, 2013

The internet and access thereto are becoming more and more important to people across the globe with each passing day. However, people outside of a certain economic barrier are often deterred or prevented from receiving their share of internet access due to the prohibitive costs of broadband internet. In fact, according to many statistics, nearly 25% of Americans still do not have regular internet access. The time has come for the government to develop a standardized plan for providing its constituents with a way to have wireless internet access at any time.

We propose that people be allowed to opt into a program wherein they pay a small tax at a given interval which grants them access to a state- or nationwide wireless network for that period of time.
