Work to Strengthen Collective Bargaining Rights for Private and Public Sector Employees.

Created by D.F. on September 22, 2011

Address the erosion of all unions. People forget over time and many of the benefits private sector employees now have, may never have come to be. Because of the successes in the early days of labor, many no longer feel the need to join or form a union. I foresee private sector organizations lobbying to end collective bargaining altogether. For the middle class to maintain their role as the backbone of the American workforce, labor in all sectors must have the right to collectively bargain. The Administration should pressure states to eliminate anti-union legislation and to return collective bargaining rights in full to the public sector. I would hope this would galvanize private sector employees to begin anew and exercise their respective rights.
Thank you.
