With the massive increase of domestic massacres, it is evident that placing limitations on guns is unavoidable. America already has the highest number of gun deaths each year, but the numbers are still mounting. The grisly and abhorrent murders of innocent men, women and (especially) children need to be ceased immediately.
Fewer guns means fewer deaths.
This is indisputable.
To respond to the each individual massacre with sentiment is not enough. The government is in place to protect the populace, and thus, needs to act proactively.
The lobbyist counterargument may be that guns don't kill people; people kill people.
Clearly, people cannot be trusted with firearms as they presently are. There are clearly way too many twisted people in the world to trust guns to the general public.
