work towards adding an amendment to the U.S. Constitution mandating all legal documentation be written in layman.

Created by M.H. on March 07, 2013

As a nation, we have long suffered at the hands of politicians and lawyers in regards to the manner in which they draft their documentation.

All legal documentation is designed to confuse the vast majority of Americans and convince them not to take the time to read and understand what is going on and what will happen to them as a result of their actions, or inaction.

It is because of this, that I propose we add an amendment to the U.S. Constitution making it a requirement that any and all legal documentation drafted in the United States of America be written in terms comprehensible at a 5th grade reading level.

One of the most important jobs of the United States government is to encourage its citizens to be active members in this countries affairs and activities.
