Work towards making The United States a system of direct democracy.

Created by J.C. on January 22, 2012

We, the people of the United States, should have the right to vote for all of our laws and policies directly. This would be achieved through the internet using a process similar to social security in which every person would be given an account at birth.
The system of Representative Democracy which our country runs on has proven to be to easily swayed. The weakest point in this system is the desire of its lawmakers to achieve reelection. Due to this desire those elected will perform actions in their official capacity with the goal to sway voters or obtain themselves funding for campaigns giving lesser considerations to the needs of the republic as a whole.
