Work towards reforming how oceans are harvested by all countries, so as to reduce the harm done to the marine ecology.

Countries like China and Japan, both of whom have very active fishing industries, are greatly harming the marine ecology. The number of fish in the oceans has been depleting steadily for quite some time and species like the blue-fin tuna, which is an endangered species, are being over harvested. If these habits are not ceased, the fishing industries around the world will continue to decline just as they they have for years. While the take of fish has grown, the number has decreased drastically and will continue to do so if reform does not take place. How long will it take before many of the fish which are still commonplace today become things of oddity? We need to take action, whether it be an ultimatum or a reform enacted through the UN, to move towards a more sustainable fishing industry
