No hearings or official proceedings should be hidden from the American public, with a possible exceptions for matters that concern national security. With the new technology now readily available, The Obama Administration should put pressure on Congress to pass legislation that would require both Houses of Congress and the Supreme Court to live stream all non-national security proceedings on the internet, and then require those streams be available on a publicly owned websites and keep a record of the audio and video of those proceedings available online for a set period of time.
