The U.S. would work in a multilateral fashion with other nations within the UN to develop a UN Agency authorized to regulate 1) international financial transactions (flow of business wealth across national boundaries) and 2) international trade. The goal here is to regulate both global corporations and international trade in hopes of restoring fairness and justice - not to mention ecological sanity - in the interest of the "common good" of the World's peoples. The authority of this agency would also cover the operations of the World Trade Organization and The World Bank, both of which historically have "stacked" the international financial and trade system to favor the wealthy countries, generally speaking, and the predations of the "free market" neoliberal economic institutions.
