We, the undersigned, whose tax payments as well as postal purchases directly fund the United States Postal Service and who should therefore retain the strongest voice in determining its scope of operations, respectfully and earnestly request and encourage the President of the United States to work with the US Congress to overturn all mandates, laws, etc., that disallow the USPS from providing the exact same packaging, shipping, copying, internet, retail sales and other services provided by Fedex, UPS, et al, so that the USPS can adequately and fairly compete with such to generate income to offset taxpayer funding, re-open closed offices, create jobs, and provide services to better serve consumers but which the USPS is presently prevented by law from providing to the public.
