Any action in response to Syria's use of nerve gas and other WMDs on its people should be authorized by the UN. We agree that failing to respond is not an option, and any response should come not in the form of a unilateral response, but under the umbrella of the United Nations to avoid drawing the United States into an open-ended conflict in Syria.
