Work/Comp Perm/Disability should entitle you to the salary & healthcare you would have earned IF you were still@the job.

Created by L.H. on December 16, 2012

Any individual who now becomes PERMANENTLY disabled 'on the job' ends up with medicare life insurance [with out of pocket deductible & prescription costs-if the individual is under the age of 65] and an income of only 70-75% of the salary FROM THE YR THEY BECAME DISABLED [it is never adjusted to a higher level, however the gov't does provide a small % cost of living increase some years, if it can afford it. It is not done every year.] It seems as though if a person is injured at work, & was signed up for & paying in to healthcare while injured...this should be provided for them as part of their injury package... & their salary should be as if they are still employed & normal raises & increases, Christmas Bonuses, incentives etc should be given. As if they still were @ work.
