The Supreme Court of Ohio's law says a persons time to sue an employer for a toxic tort issue does not start until the person learns that something the company they worked for did caused them to be exposed to a toxic substance. No other claims should be considered such as signing off earlier on injuries.
To many times people don't know they have been exposed until much later sometimes years because issues like heavy metals have long term retention in the body. Workers should be compensated for their exposures just like any other injury. They now know that metals cause nutritional deficiencies, muscle and joint problems, impact the immune and neurological systems. It was only learned recently that things like lead and antimony etc. can be absorbed through the skin.
