Workplace bullying and mobbing is an epidemic that needs immediate attention

I am a survivor of workplace bullying by a major German pharmaceutical corporation doing business in the U.S. I was unfamiliar with terms mobbing and workplace bullying until I experienced it. This has affected my life, my health, my family's life and health, our lifestyle and my ability to provide for my family. My work-related abuse caused me to be diagnosed with mental impairments that are disabling that I have never had before. The most disheartening thing was for me to find out that there are millions who experience the same or worse treatment and our government has done nothing to address these issues. It's so bad that there is an institute designated strictly towards workplace bullying. Mental illness is one of the leading causes of disability in our country. This is one reason why.
