Write a constitutional amendment creating term limits of 2 terms for Senators and 4 terms for Congress.

Created by M.F. on November 15, 2012

This country's dissatisfaction with congress can be seen in one of the lowest approval ratings for congress in a very long time. Congressmen and Congresswomen sometimes stay in office for upwards of 30 years, all the while amassing huge fortunes that put them further and further out of touch with the majority of the population. To keep fresh minds in congress, we need to create term limits for both houses. Senators may stay in office for 2 terms, or 12 years. Representatives may stay in office for 6 terms, or 12 years.
