We have the right to free speech, and yet our emotions, sexuality, and personal identifiers are not free. In this country, a bill passing and denying gay men the right from playing in the NFL is possible. Having a personal identifier other than male or female can result in not being allowed into the military. I personally identify as a straight male, someone else may identify homosexual, or something other than what their doctor labeled them at birth. This is fine, and people should not be oppressed for it. This possibility, and this fear, of being oppressed is against what the US stands for. One's right against such oppression should be written into the bill of rights.
