write into law that no person should be allowed to stay in any government office for more than 10 years.

Created by B.D. on November 20, 2012

Too many government offices have been occupied by the same person or people for far too long. There are congress members who have held their office for more than 45 years, and even still some that have been there for 50 years or more. There are senate members who have held offices for more than 35. These people have served us well, and deserve to be respected, but changes in times, require new ways of thinking, and new ways of thinking often require new people thinking them.

It's time for these people to leave their offices, retire in dignity and let someone new take up the mantel. It's also time for regulations to be placed on how long someone can hold these positions, so this situation doesn't occur again.
