This year Tuition Assistance for soldiers have been cut, please help raise them back to pre-2012 amounts.

Created by J.S. on December 17, 2012

Previously soldiers would have 100% of their tuition paid for by the government; however, as of 2012 soldiers only get 4500 a year to pay for college. The national average to go to a university is around 32,026 (http://nces.ed.gov/fastfacts/display.asp?id=76) a year; for state schools its around 15,000-20,000. How can soldiers pay for that. They sacrifice so much for us. Why should they have to pay so much to become even better american then they already are? The GI bill does help but only a little bit more than the tuition assistance. Please help the military get the resource they deserve.
