The native people suffered tremendouse horrors from conquering, many things unkown to citizens,unwritten in history books. The genocide is a dark blood stain on our history but injustice can be brought to justice, history learned from. people must strive for these better values.
The Black hills is constitutionally regonized as stolen land it was the sacred land of the Lakotah.They were killed and removed for the gold the land had. To this day some suffer in poor reserve pineridge in the shadow of their sacred land.On July 23,1980 the supreme court ruled that the land was illegally taken the compensation was 106 million the Lakotah refused to sell sacred land.Today the money is 757million even dealing with poverty they refuse.
