"You do the crime, you PAY the time," is important because we all know that our black communities are being targeted. It's not fair to judge a book by its color. Just as the Jews in the holocaust received reparations we as African Americans should receive reparations. We all suffer from the heartache til this day of slavery. Our prisons have innocent African American men who is locked up and away for a long time just because of their skin tone. We try to hide the fact that slavery isn't around anymore but it is and we know it is. It's time to stand up as African Americans, and demand reparations for the centuries of African slavery in America. It's only right and fair.
