This isn't about the Death Star, so I'm sure it won't go anywhere, but it's disturbing to see a group ("gay brothers and sisters") singled out as if they're somehow separate from the "rest of us". They're not. We all make sexual/moral choices. Because the president has come down on the side of "homosexual marriage is identical to heterosexual marriage and should therefore be recognized by the government", it may not change what marriage is, what's right or wrong, what "civil rights" entail, etc. What's really disturbing is the president's refusal to fully explain what marriage is and how governments should recognize or "endorse" it. What about polygamy? What about age limits? What about singles? Should singles be denied "equal rights"? These questions need answers too.
